Tom Miller has spent much of his life asking questions that don’t have easy answers.
His journey began in college when he embarked on a civil rights project to register Black voters in New Orleans, a project that ended under threats from a powerful local segregationist. A year later he covered the war in Vietnam as a journalist, where he was ironically drafted to serve in the military. His application for Conscientious Objective status was denied, leading him to life as a fugitive pursued internationally by the FBI and CIA.
Several years later he became an entrepreneur and futurist predicting how new-to-the-world digital technologies would transform the world. He also took time to engage in conversations with spiritual leaders from different faith traditions—Native American, Tibetan Buddhist, Muslim, Judaism and secular humanism—which fueled many life-changing experiences and a relentless search for true love and ultimate meaning. Everything changed after a profound daytime vision of Jesus redirected the course of his life, his marriage and his spiritual life.
